• OBLS is available at https://licences.business.gov.sg
Will I Be Able To Apply For All Licences & Permits On OBLS?
• No. OBLS does not cover occupational licences (e.g. contact lens practitioners, dentists
and pilots). For these, you will need to consult with your lawyer or the organisations
that oversee these professions.

• Some licences and permits on OBLS cannot be filed online. In these cases, OBLS will
provide the online application forms for download or the agency’s contact number for
enquiries
What Do I Need Before Applying?
• Get Your SingPass
SingPass, which stands for "Singapore Personal Access", lets you sign on and transact with
the Government online with a single password.
SingPass is available to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, Employment Pass holders
and Dependant Pass holders over 15 years old. Get your SingPass over the counter or online.
• Prepare To Make Payment
OBLS only accepts:
a. Credit Cards (Visa or MasterCard)
b. eNETS Debit with Citibank, DBS or UOB
c. Flexipay (GIRO-On-Demand)
• Have A Valid Email Address Handy
When your transaction is approved, OBLS will send you an email.
• Make Sure You Are Authorised
If you are not the business owner or director, you will need a "Letter of Authorisation".
You will be required to scan and upload a copy of the Letter in PDF or JPG format.
Professional firms acting on behalf of their clients are exempted from this requirement.
